When your Concussion isn't getting better!

Even though we don't talk about it often, Concussions are one of our main areas of expertise at CE Sport Therapy.

Sadly, there's a lot of misinformation out there about concussion recovery! And the really helpful info seems to be hidden or hoarded by health care professionals.

I recently interviewed Michelle (Lead Therapist and Concussion Specialist) and we talked about the most common misconceptions, the need to know info, and what you should do if your concussion isn't getting better on it's own.   • That you should just rest and keep resting until your concussion goes away.

  • That you need to push your brain throughout recovery by doing really challenging brain and balance/ coordination/ vision exercises even if you feel like garbage afterwards

  • That you need to see multiple different therapists to address different aspects of your recovery, different parts of the brain or body, etc.
