Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) In Calgary, Alberta
Discover how to finally ease long term chronic pain, chronically tight or weak muscles and more- WITHOUT HAVING TO RESORT TO SURGERY, PILLS OR INJECTIONS!
If you’ve been suffering with chronic knee or shoulder pain, lower back stiffness, serious muscle tension, agonizing headaches, or other pain that runs rampid inside your muscles and joints - it can be very tempting to simply live with it and hope that it’ll go away on it’s own. Or pass it off as something that “everyone your age” will have to “put up with” at some point.
Maybe you’ve tried just about everything from rest to medication to injections, and advice from other healthcare professions, but still nothing seems to be able to give you the outcome you’re looking for - an end to pain and suffering.
If that’s happening to you, and you’re experiencing any of the above - you’re not alone. We hear this type of thing all the time at our Athletic Therapy Clinic in Calgary, AB. Every day we hear form people who have been living with chronic pain, unwanted headaches and tension, for months (sometimes even years) who can’t seem to find a solution to fix it.
And when it comes to living with this frustration, everybody we see wants to know:
“Why is this happening to me?”...
or,
“Why am I STILL suffering for months even though I’ve tried just about everything to ease the pain and fix the problem?”...
Most people hope that when they get pain in their knee, back or neck, tension and tightness in their muscles, headaches that spring on them out of nowhere, and annoying pain in their joints - that it’ll go away on it’s own...
...That they’ll wake up one morning and like “magic”, it’ll be as if it never happened… But then 6 months later (or even years) you’re still living with the problem - often even worse than it was when it came on.
Does that sound like you?

What is Neurokinetic Therapy?
Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) at CE Sport Therapy is technique performed by a Certified Athletic Therapist. This technique involves very gentle muscle tests to determine if a muscle is activating or not. The Therapist can then find compensation patterns that have been unknowingly contributing to your pain and problem. To resolve the compensation pattern the therapist will perform a gentle release (massage) on the spot they have found to be overworking. They will also teach you how to activate the muscle that is under-working.
Neurokinetic Therapy acts on the nervous system and using this very precise application can change how the brain controls your muscles! This can be done extremely quickly in the treatment room. And while there will be some home exercises to help your body continue to function more optimally, you will see results MUCH faster than with other rehab or strengthening approaches!
Neurokinetic Therapy can help with Chronic Pain, tight and weak muscles, performance concerns and much more!
